The installation of PVC drainage pipes is key to ensuring the smooth operation of the drainage system, and the following is a detailed introduction to the installation steps for you:

1. Construction preparation:

According to the drainage design scheme, prepare the corresponding diameter and length of PVC drainage pipes and supporting fittings, such as elbows, direct heads, three-way joints, etc. At the same time, prepare tools such as tape measure, pipe cutter, PVC glue, level, electric drill, expansion bolts, etc. Check whether there are cracks, sand holes and other quality problems in the pipes and fittings before installation.

2. Measurement and positioning:

Use a tape measure to measure and mark the pipeline route at the installation position, determine the drainage slope, generally the drainage slope of the horizontal pipe in the bathroom and kitchen should be kept at 2% - 3%, to ensure smooth drainage. According to the marks, determine the position of the fixed bracket on the wall or ground, set a bracket every 2 meters for horizontal pipes, and set one every 3 meters for vertical pipes.

3. Pipe cutting and connection:

Cut the PVC pipe to the desired length with a pipe cutter, ensuring a clean and perpendicular cut to the pipe's axis. When connecting pipes, first wipe the connection areas of the fittings and pipes clean, apply PVC glue evenly, quickly insert the pipe into the fitting to the marked depth, and rotate it 90 degrees to spread the glue evenly. Let it sit for 2-3 minutes to allow the glue to set preliminarily.

4. Support installation and pipeline fixing:

Drill holes at the marked bracket positions, insert expansion bolts, and install fixed brackets. Place the connected pipes in the brackets one by one, adjust the position of the pipes, ensure that horizontal pipes are horizontal and vertical pipes are vertical, and fix the pipes to the brackets with pipe clamps.

5. System testing:

After the pipeline is installed, close all the outlets, and fill the pipeline with water for water test, observe whether there is any leakage phenomenon. At the same time, carry out the test of passing the ball, put the rubber ball with a diameter of 2/3 of the pipe diameter into the starting end of the pipeline, and check whether the ball can be discharged smoothly from the end, so as to test whether the pipeline is unobstructed and ensure the normal operation of the drainage system.
