PVC plastic-steel profiles refer to the PVC profiles used for making doors and windows. They are formed by extrusion using polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resin as the main raw material, along with stabilizers, colorants, plasticizers and other additives. The profiles are made through this process. Profiles made solely from PVC have insufficient strength for doors and windows. Usually, steel is added to the mold cavity to enhance the stability of the doors and windows. Therefore, plastic doors and windows made with steel added to the profiles are commonly referred to as plastic-steel doors and windows. They retain the toughness and processing convenience of plastic while enhancing the structural strength by adding reinforcing materials such as steel inserts. They are widely used in the fields of architecture and furniture.

① Stabilizer SG61: The calcium-zinc stabilizer SG61 can interrupt the degradation chain reaction and prolong the stability time of PVC during processing at the processing temperature, ensuring the smooth extrusion and molding of the profiles. PVC plastic steel profiles, when exposed to sunlight, high temperatures, and humidity for a long time, are prone to aging due to ultraviolet rays and thermal oxidation. The presence of stabilizer SG61 can enhance the weather resistance and service life of the profiles, maintaining the appearance color of the profiles. At the same time, stabilizer SG61 can work in synergy with PVC resin and lubricants during the processing, reducing the friction between the melt and the equipment and lowering the processing energy consumption.

② External lubricants PE wax and stearic acid 1801: The core function of external lubricants PE wax and stearic acid 1801 is to reduce the friction between the PVC melt and the surface of the processing equipment, ensuring the smooth subsequent extrusion molding. PE wax can improve the surface smoothness of the profiles, enhance the demolding performance, avoid product deformation or damage caused by difficult demolding during production, and the high-temperature resistance of PE wax can better adapt to processing requirements. Stearic acid 1801 has a relatively lower melting point, which can promote material mixing and dispersion, and regulate the plasticization speed, preventing local overheating degradation of PVC resin due to rapid plasticization, especially when there is a lot of filler, it can avoid the premature adhesion of "dry-mixed materials".


③ Processing aid ACR401: Processing aid ACR401 is a crucial high-molecular additive in the production of PVC plastic steel profiles. Its core function is to improve the processing performance and structural morphology of the PVC melt, enhancing the molding quality, mechanical properties, and appearance of the profiles. During extrusion, ACR401 can transfer shear force, enabling the PVC resin to be more fully mixed with recycled materials, stabilizers, and other additives, avoiding "fish eyes" (unmelted particles) and stripes caused by uneven plasticization, ensuring uniform internal structure of the profiles.

④ Toughening agent CPE135A: As a commonly used impact modification agent, toughening agent CPE135A can improve the toughness and impact resistance of PVC materials, solving the problem of PVC's brittleness and low-temperature cracking. At the same time, it also assists in improving processing performance and weather resistance. Moreover, toughening agent CPE135A can work in synergy with other additives to balance mechanical properties, alleviate the deterioration of toughness caused by recycled materials, and ensure sufficient impact resistance even in high-filler conditions.

①Rich in colors and high in cost-effectiveness: PVC plastic-steel profiles can be made in various colors, and a later color-coated film can be applied to the profiles to create a wood-grain effect that is indistinguishable from real wood, meeting the diverse demands for architectural appearance. The price of plastic is much lower than that of aluminum metal with the same strength and service life. Especially in the current situation where the price of metal has significantly increased, the cost-effectiveness advantage becomes even more prominent.
②Insulation, soundproofing, and corrosion resistance: By adding reinforcing steel bars in the profile cavities, the strength of the profiles is enhanced, giving them earthquake-resistant and wind erosion-resistant properties. The independent drainage cavity design with multiple cavities avoids corrosion of the steel bars, and the addition of anti-ultraviolet components also improves weather resistance. The thermal conductivity of plastic profiles is much lower than that of pure aluminum profiles. The design of multiple cavities further enhances the insulation effect, effectively reducing temperature fluctuations indoors and saving energy. The closed multiple-cavity structure also has a very obvious noise-shielding effect, creating a quiet environment indoors.
